Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Travers Executive Search collects, uses and protects personal information when you use this website, contact me, book a meeting or subscribe to email updates.

Who is responsible for your information

The data controller for this website is:

Andrew Travers Business Development
Bahnhaldenstrasse 32
8052 Zürich, Switzerland

Trading as: Travers Executive Search
Email: letstalk @ traversexecutivesearch.com

What personal information we collect

The information collected depends on how you interact with Travers Executive Search.

If you contact me by email, I may receive your name, email address, organisation and any information you choose to include in your message.

If you book a call, the booking process may collect your name, email address, company or organisation, meeting details and any optional information you provide before the call.

If you subscribe to email updates, I collect your name, email address and, if you choose to provide it, your role or function. The subscription uses double opt-in, so you must confirm your email address before being added to the active mailing list.

The website hosting service may also generate standard technical server logs, which can include information such as IP address, browser type, date and time of access and the pages or files requested.

Travers Executive Search does not currently use Google Analytics or similar website visitor analytics on this site.

How I use personal information

I use personal information only where it is reasonably necessary to operate Travers Executive Search and respond to people who choose to contact me.

This may include:

  • responding to enquiries and correspondence;
  • arranging and managing meetings;
  • discussing potential recruitment, search or business requirements;
  • sending email updates where you have subscribed and confirmed your email address;
  • maintaining appropriate business and communication records;
  • protecting the website, email systems and other services from misuse or security threats; and
  • meeting applicable legal, regulatory or administrative requirements.

Newsletter subscriptions are voluntary. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in each marketing email.

Services used to operate the website and communications

Travers Executive Search uses a small number of external service providers to operate the website, email, booking and newsletter functions.

These currently include:

  • Kreativmedia / Plesk hosting for website hosting and server operation;
  • Microsoft 365 for business email, Outlook and Microsoft Teams;
  • Calendly for appointment scheduling;
  • Google Calendar as the current calendar used to receive Calendly bookings during the transition to Microsoft 365;
  • MailerLite for newsletter subscriptions, double opt-in confirmation and email campaigns.

When you use one of these functions, the relevant provider may process the information needed to deliver that service.

Some service providers may process or store information outside Switzerland. Where this occurs, I rely on the contractual and legal safeguards made available by the relevant provider.

How long information is kept

I keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain appropriate business records, or to meet legal and regulatory requirements.

Newsletter subscription records are retained while you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, suppression information may be retained so that your email address is not added back to future marketing lists by mistake.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including the right to ask what information is held about you, request correction of inaccurate information, object to certain uses, or request deletion where appropriate.

WordPress, the web host or other technical services may use cookies or similar technologies where they are necessary for security, administration or the proper operation of the website.

If additional analytics, advertising or tracking services are introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy and, where required, the website's cookie controls will be updated before those services are used.
